If I want to be completely honest, I started Living with Stage IV to keep myself from going crazy. I’ve been a health editor and writer for over 25 years (among other things), but difficulties with concentration, pain, and other gifts that MBC just keeps on giving have resulted in an indefinite sabbatical from the work I used to do. This blog is my way of remaining a part of the great big world out there, and perhaps helping some others in the process.
